Qualifications
- Certified Orthotist
- Certified Prosthetist
- Demonstrated expertise in orthotics, including assessment, device design, fitting, and follow-up care.
- Proficiency in prosthetics, including component selection, alignment, gait training support, and long-term device management.
- Strong skills in patient care, with the ability to perform thorough clinical evaluations and manage treatment plans in coordination with medicine and rehabilitation teams.
- Experience with gait analysis to optimize orthotic and prosthetic outcomes and improve functional mobility.
- ABC or BOC certification as a Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO).
- Master's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics or a related accredited program.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options clearly and support patient education.
- Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and nondiscriminatory patient care and ongoing professional development.
