Overview

Riley Pediatric Ophthalmology is seeking an Orthoptist to join our dynamic team at Riley Outpatient Center and additional clinics in Carmel and Greenwood.

Core Requirements

• Required Credential: Certified Orthoptist (CO) - National certification required
• Schedule Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call / Weekends: None

Compensation & Incentives/Sign-On Bonus

• $15,000 sign-on bonus requires continuous employment for 3 years
• Additional relocation bonus may be applicable

What You Will Do

Provides skilled technical support for the diagnosis and treatments of ocular disorders in patients of all ages. Performs comprehensive and specialized ophthalmic examinations, interprets, evaluates, and communicates test results and prepares recommendations for patient treatment and management. Implements treatment programs and conducts follow up for designated patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in orthoptics required
• 1-3 years' experience as orthoptist preferred
• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts of orthoptics required

• Skilled in performing comprehensive and specialized ophthalmic examinations
• Ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate test results
• Experience in preparing recommendations for patient treatment and management
• Knowledgeable in implementing treatment programs and conducting follow-up
