Orthopedics Clinical Nurse - Nights

About the role

Provides direct patient care in an orthopedics unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Maintains a safe work environment as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN licensure required.
• Experience in orthopedics and/or Med-Surg is preferred, with at least 2 years of experience desirable.
