Orthopedic Technician

Position Overview

The Orthopedic Technician supports patient care by applying and removing casts, splints, and orthopedic devices, assisting with traction equipment, and preparing patients for procedures. This role also manages orthopedic equipment, performs basic clinical tasks such as suture and staple removal, and supports inventory control and patient transportation.

Bayview Medical Center - Baltimore, MD

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Competitive Compensation

Pay Rate: $31.00 - $33.00 Per hour (Based on Experience)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Certification as an Orthopaedic Technician/Technologist required

Qualifications

Highly skilled in splinting and bracing practices, able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff, and maintain orthopedic supplies and equipment.
