About the role
This role involves providing locum tenens support in an inpatient hospital setting for orthopedic trauma surgery cases, including fracture reductions, washouts, trauma consults, post-operative care, and trauma call coverage.
Responsibilities
- Managing orthopedic trauma cases and hospital coverage
- Performing trauma-related procedures and consults
- Participating in day, night, and weekend shifts, with availability for 24-hour call coverage
- Delivering high-quality patient care, supporting trauma teams, and ensuring smooth hospital operations related to orthopedic trauma cases
Qualifications and Skills
- Active South Carolina PA license
- DEA registration
- CDS registration
- Certifications: ACLS or ATLS
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR
