Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA)

About the role

This facility is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support to fill a current need. Start date: ASAP. Available shifts: Day 8 (8‑hour day shifts). The position is in an outpatient orthopedic practice in Lancaster, California, handling typical orthopedic outpatient cases, total joints, return patients, and injections. The practice uses EPIC EMR and requires credentialing within 60+ days.

Responsibilities

• Manage typical orthopedic outpatient cases
• Assist with total joint procedures
• See return patients
• Administer injections

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Board Certification
• Active California Physician Assistant license
