Orthopedic Surgeon – Sports Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine Surgery to join our orthopedic department within a community healthcare system.

Location: Situated within an hour of major metropolitan areas, offering a high quality of life with access to beaches, vibrant communities, excellent schools, and recreational activities in the New England region.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive sports medicine care for athletes of all ages and activity levels
• Collaborating with a team that includes a fellowship-trained non-operative Sports Medicine physician and athletic trainers for community outreach
• Participating in an orthopedic trauma call rotation of 1:5
• Consulting on complex cases through a partnership with a major medical center

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Fellowship training in Sports Medicine
• Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Experience in sports injury evaluation, treatment, and surgical management
