Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine

About This Role
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable)
- Practice at the Spanish Fork Hospital
- 2 days per week in clinic (dedicated in-office) and 2 days OR surgical time
- Some patient-preferred hours required with local community travel in Utah County
- Orthopedic 1 and 6 call required for level 3 trauma patients; compensation offered for call requirement
- Local ASC with potential to participate
An ideal candidate will have experience or interest in D1 athletics or professional sporting team coverage and completed their CAQ in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.

Requirements
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree; or equivalent if education is completed outside the United States
- Completion of graduate fellowship medical education training program in Orthopedic Surgery with a CAQ board certification in Sports Medicine
- Graduate education must be obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution
- ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice
- Fellowship in Orthopedics Sports Medicine and completion of CAQ
- Active Medical Licensure, or in process of obtaining licensure, in the state in which physician will practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- DEA Registration schedules II-V
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The 33-bed Spanish Fork Hospital sits on approximately 45 acres east of I-15 and north of U.S. Highway 6. It is a modern community hospital and was the first to install a Mako surgical robot (for knee and hip replacement).
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $7.25 - $999.99, with actual rate dependent upon experience.
