About the role
Baptist Health-Fort Smith is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join a busy practice. The clinic currently includes five physicians: four surgeons and one who performs injections. The call schedule is one in five.
Responsibilities
- Split time between hospital and clinic, typically two and one-half days per week in surgery and two and one-half days per week in clinic
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions in a high-volume setting
- Perform surgical procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team

- On-site casting, lab, and x-ray capabilities
- Epic EMR used across the clinic and hospital
- Clinic volume of 250–300 new patients monthly
- 492-bed hospital with emergency department, ICU, outpatient imaging, and surgery center
- System includes a 103-bed hospital in Van Buren and more than 40 clinic locations
- Accredited by The Joint Commission with national recognition for stroke and heart care
