Orthopedic Surgeon / Hip & Knee Reconstruction - Job Opportunity in San Antonio

About the role

The position is a full-time opportunity focused on clinical excellence with involvement in resident/fellow and medical student education if desired. It is a blend of academic and private practice settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform hip and knee reconstruction
• Work Monday through Friday
• Mix of clinic and surgical days
• Involvement in shared call schedule with experienced colleagues
• Provide high-quality orthopedic surgical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
• Engage in teaching and mentoring
• Involvement in system-wide initiatives to improve orthopedic and musculoskeletal outcomes

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
• Monday – Friday work schedule
• Mixture of clinic and surgical days
• Participate in a shared call schedule with experienced colleagues (no trauma call)
• Access to cutting-edge surgical suites and diagnostic technology

Qualifications

• Completed residency in orthopedic surgery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
