About the role
The successful candidate will join 3 established foot and ankle surgeons in providing clinical services at some of our 7 locations in the Chicagoland area. The foot and ankle service is supported by dedicated foot and ankle systems including cast rooms, diagnostic imaging including Ped CAT, and DME.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of all aspects of foot and ankle surgical care including trauma
- Collaboration with other specialists within the orthopedic program
- Participation in academic activities and teaching
- Assisting in the management of the foot and ankle service
- Performing procedures such as minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine injuries, complex reconstructions, limb realignment, cartilage replacement and total ankle replacement
Requirements
- Successfully completed an orthopedic surgery residency program and fellowship training in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery
- Board-certified or board eligible
- Eligible to take hospital emergency department call obligations for full general orthopedic surgical care
- Eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license
