Orthopedic Service Line Administrator

Job Objective Responsible for directing the successful development, implementation and growth of the orthopedic service line, resulting in high quality outcomes, cost effective performance and increases in volume/market share. Serves as an administrative liaison for orthopedic services activities, projects and programs. Works closely with executive leadership, financial planning and key medical leadership regarding technology, identifying avenues for increased revenue and reimbursement, and controlling overall cost in each area. Responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, directing and staffing of department workforce, materials, technology information and financial resources to provide quality care in all areas. Represents the health system in all department-related activities. Maintains active communication among medical staff, interdepartmental directors and staff.
