Orthopedic Residency - Physical Therapist
Therapy Partner Solutions (TPS) is seeking motivated physical therapists to join our Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, a structured, high-impact training experience designed to accelerate clinical expertise and prepare clinicians for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) examination. TPS, therapist-owned and operated since 2016, is dedicated to providing exceptional therapy services. As the provider of outpatient therapy services for Advent Health in Sebring, Wauchula, and Lake Placid, we’re part of a strong, multidisciplinary team that brings together physical and occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
About The Residency Program
Developed in partnership with Therapy Partner Solutions, this residency is built by clinicians, for clinicians—with a focus on real-world application, mentorship, and long-term professional growth. Residents participate in a comprehensive blended learning model, including:
- 300+ hours of structured didactic education
- 150 hours of 1:1 mentorship
- Full-time patient care in an orthopedic setting
- Asynchronous and live virtual learning
- In-person weekend intensive courses

- Current Concepts of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy coursework

- Journal clubs and case-based discussions

Eligibility Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed (or eligible) in the state of practice
- Employed full-time by start of program
- APTA and Orthopedic Section memberships before program start

Pay
Pay range is based on experience, professional and clinical skill set, and patient outcomes.
Cost of Program Participation
Residency financial structure offers 3 options:
- Option 1: $0 out of pocket cost with a 2-year post-graduation work commitment
- Option 2: $5,000+ out of pocket cost with a 1-year post-graduation work commitment
- Option 3: $13,000+ out of pocket cost with no post-graduation work commitment
Schedule
Full-time, 12-month program starting February 1st.
Requirements
- Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapy program
- Active or pending state physical therapist license
- Employed by start of the residency program
