Join United Health Services (UHS), a community-based healthcare system in New York’s Southern Tier, as an orthopedic hand surgeon. This opportunity offers an established patient base, dependable operating room access, and the support of a collaborative orthopedic team that values efficiency and surgeon autonomy. You’ll build a hand-focused practice within a hospital-employed model designed for long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Practice exclusive orthopedic hand surgery aside from general departmental call
  • 7-figure base compensation ($1,000,000+), plus signing bonus and relocation assistance
  • Established volumes with opportunity to increase productivity
  • Dedicated physician assistant and experienced clinical support staff
  • Join the UHS Orthopedic Center which includes nine physicians and 18 orthopedic APPs
  • Level II Trauma Center coverage with shared call rotation
  • Optional academic affiliation and teaching involvement

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in orthopedic surgery
  • Experience in hand surgery preferred
  • Strong clinical and administrative support
  • Flexible schedule with predictable weekday hours

Qualifications

  • MD degree
  • NY State medical license required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
