About the role
The Orthopaedic Trauma Division of Hughston Clinic seeks experienced or fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeons to join a team providing services at a Level II trauma center in Montgomery, AL. We are one of the largest, private groups of orthopaedic trauma surgeons in the country, serving nine different Level 1 and Level 2 trauma centers across Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthopaedic trauma care in a Level II trauma center setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in surgical procedures and consultations related to orthopaedic trauma
- Contribute to research initiatives and clinical trials
- Engage in local leadership roles within hospital governance structures
Requirements
- Fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma preferred
- Current medical license in good standing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited orthopaedic residency program
- Successful completion of a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma (preferred)
