Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator

About the role

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Longmont, CO is seeking an Optometric Assistant to administer visual tests, operate diagnostic equipment, and help with eyewear fittings. This position reports to the Lead Optometric Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate financial discussions with delinquent accounts
• Achieve patient conversion results
• Assist with phone calls and patient check-out
• Understand, monitor, and ensure the smooth implementation of office processes, including scheduling, patient flow, and insurance verification
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients (cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Requirements

• Previous sales experience desired
• Previous experience in a dental practice a plus
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time
• Knowledge of various insurance plans, manuals, exclusions, and limitations
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
• Preferred knowledge of Dolphin Database, eCW, Google Docs, scanning functions, and Office, Word, and Excel
• Bilingual a plus

Pay

$21.00–$27.00 per hour, plus bonus opportunity
