About the role
We are seeking a full-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join a fast-paced, technology-driven orthodontic team.
Responsibilities
- Performing sterilization procedures and preparing precise tray setups
- Obtaining diagnostic records such as X-rays, scans, photos, and impressions
- Providing chairside assistance under orthodontist supervision
- Accurately documenting clinical notes and educating patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Fabricating retainers and managing basic lab duties
- Maintaining a clean and ready operatory environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental assistant licenses or certification, with preferred orthodontic experience
- Minimum 6 months in a dental or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and digital technology
- Strong communication, reliability, and ability to work efficiently in a fast environment
