Orthodontic Clinician II
About the role
Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.
Responsibilities
- Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist
- Accurately and efficiently perform procedures to maintain high volume clinical schedule
- Take pride in a job well done, providing an exceptional patient experience, every patient, every day
- Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes
- Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist
- Auxiliary in final checks on patients and leading patient flow
- Auxiliary in remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notifications
- Inform patients about orthodontic care and remote monitoring
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols
- Auxiliary in Local Store Marketing and community events
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum three (3) years of previous Orthodontic experience or six (6) months experience as a Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician ID
- Dental Assistant certification as required by state Dental Board
- Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
- CPR certification if required by state Dental Board

- Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task

Schedule
Monday thru Thursday 7:45 am - 5 pm (lunch 1 pm - 2:20 pm)
Friday 8:45 am -12 pm
Off-site marketing and community events (usually occurs either in the evening or on a weekend): Staff will be assigned to these events as needed.
