Orthodontic Clinician II

About the role

Busby & Webb Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing team. The position involves assisting in the delivery of positive clinical experiences, adhering to company and state policies, and working in all three locations: Albemarle, Salisbury, and Statesville.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances under supervision of the Orthodontist
• Take full records accurately and efficiently
• Review and log patient data, transcribe doctor notes, and perform laboratory procedures under supervision
• Auxiliary in final checks and patient flow management
• Administer the remote monitoring dashboard, including reviewing and responding to patient scans and notifications
• Provide education on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols
• Participate in local store marketing and community events
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of previous Orthodontic experience or six (6) months as a Smile Doctor's Orthodontic Clinician IDental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board
