Orthodontic Assistant
Kids Dental Place in Glendale, CA, is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position reports to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

Responsibilities
- Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
- Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
- Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
- Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients, including cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
Requirements
- Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
- Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
- Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) is a plus
- Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
- Current BLS CPR certification
Physical Requirements
This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend, communicate verbally (both in person and by telephone), use hands repetitively to handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a standard clinical environment. This role routinely utilizes standard dental equipment.
