Orthodontic Assistant

Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and deliver excellent customer service to patients
- Coordinate patient care and treatment according to the doctor and other team members
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing materials, and providing chairside support
- Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Properly sterilize instruments on a regular basis
- Assist doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placement
- Properly take the correct X-rays when needed on each patient
Requirements
- Previous orthodontics experience is preferred but not required
- Warm, friendly, courteous, and enjoys working with children
- Punctual, responsible, and a fast learner
- Ability to multitask is critical
- Receptive to training and coaching on best practices
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 8:15 AM–5:00 PM, and 1 Saturday a month.
Pay
Starting at $20.00 per hour.
