As an Orthodontic Assistant, you’ll support our mission to deliver excellent dental care, primarily to children (70% or more of our patient base), and contribute to community outreach and team collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
- Guide parents and patients through treatment processes and provide education on oral hygiene and postoperative instructions.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking x-rays and orthodontic facial photos, and saving them to patient charts.
- Ensure operational readiness by preparing tray set-ups, mixing dental materials (amalgam, cement, pulp paste, impression materials), and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of chairs and treatment rooms.
- Assist dental staff during treatments and document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient charts.
- Pour, trim, and polish impression casts, and fabricate custom impression trays.
- Adhere to all government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (state-dependent).
- At least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting (preferred).
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working with children.

- Dependability and reliability to meet scheduled work hours.
- Attention to detail and ability to organize work, multitask, and meet deadlines.
