About the role

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. This role is based in a 32-bed orthopedic/neuro spine unit specializing in elective surgeries like joint replacements and spine procedures. Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and proactively communicate care plans across the continuum.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.

Qualifications

Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.

Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
