ORR Youth Care Worker

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise youth in the school
• Take youth to medical appointments or outings

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• 1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• One year of experience in a child welfare or agency setting
• Aged 21 or older
• Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Ability to pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Knowledge of child development and psychology

Pay and Schedule

• $23.74 per hour
• Two shifts available: A Shift (Days) - Sunday to Every other Wednesday, 7a-8p or 8a-9p, with 1 hour break each day
• Schedule subject to change based on the need of the program
