Orofino Correctional Program Coordinator/Instructor

About the role

The Orofino Correctional Program Coordinator/Instructor is responsible for overseeing educational programs within the Orofino Correctional Center. This individual will work closely with inmates to develop and implement educational plans that enhance their rehabilitation and employability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs tailored to inmate needs and goals.
• Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure the successful execution of educational initiatives.
• Assess inmate progress and adjust educational plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to educational programming.
• Participate in regular meetings with program participants and staff to discuss progress and challenges.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with incarcerated individuals.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse group of inmates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing correctional facilities and educational programs.
• Experience with data management and reporting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$X per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
