Organizations and Leadership Coordinator
The Opportunity
As the Organizations & Leadership Coordinator, you will coordinate and implement a variety of student leadership programs offered through Student Involvement. In this role, you will support registered student organizations by providing training, assisting with event registration and planning, and serving as a resource for organization leaders. You will also oversee the operations of the Student Organization Center, including supervising and supporting student staff, while helping create meaningful opportunities for student engagement, leadership development, and organizational success.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in organization advising, event planning, student advocacy, or related work. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.
- Basic knowledge of and experience with student organizations
- Basic knowledge and understanding of business and management concepts
- Demonstrated ability in using current computer technologies (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), email, and the internet
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or related
- Two years of experience in a student activities office in a college setting
- Experience advising student organizations
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
- Experience with program development, presentation development, and implementation
- Experience working with an online student organizations management system (i.e. Orgsync, Collegiatelink, Campus Labs, etc.)
- Customer service experience
Pay
Monthly Salary: $4,061.90 - $5,077.36 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Schedule
This is a full time (100% FTE), temporary position. This position is overtime eligible. Temporary End Date: This is a temporary position expected to end on June 30, 2027. Renewal is dependent on continued work availability and if additional funding is secured to extend employment. While funding is evaluated annually, this is a long-term program and we expect funding to be continually renewed. Position Term: 12 Month.
