Organizational Change Management and Communication Leader
Position Overview
Lead and drive organizational change initiatives and strategic communications to support IT transformation programs. This role ensures successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working by engaging stakeholders, managing resistance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans for IT transformation projects.
- Design and deliver communication plans that effectively inform, engage, and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Partner with project teams, business leaders, and HR to assess change impacts and readiness, and to develop mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities to build change capability and drive adoption.
- Monitor and measure change progress, stakeholder engagement, and communication effectiveness; adjust plans as needed.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on change management best practices, risks, and opportunities.
- Create and manage feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement in change and communication approaches.
- Develop and maintain change management and communication toolkits, templates, and resources.
- Support the development of a change network or champions across the organization.
Job Specifications
- Proven experience in organizational change management, preferably within large-scale IT or business transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR) and communication strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to assess change impacts and measure outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.
- High level of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in change management and communications roles.
- Experience supporting IT transformation or digital initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP).
- Experience in a global or multi-site organization.
- Advanced degree in Organizational Development, Communications, or related discipline.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel may be required to support project and stakeholder engagement needs.
Pay
The hiring range for this position is $118,400 - $174,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
