About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Organizational Consultant to lead and execute change management strategies for complex organizational initiatives. This role will drive adoption, manage organizational impact, and ensure successful realization of business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated organizational change management strategies, including change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, sponsorship, and adoption plans.
  • Assess the impact of organizational changes on people, processes, culture, roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
  • Partner with project and business leaders to understand the day-to-day impact of change on end users and develop targeted change management plans.
  • Develop actionable change plans using established organizational change management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Coach and influence executive sponsors, frontline leaders, project leaders, and key stakeholders to build alignment, manage resistance, and drive adoption.
  • Identify potential people-side risks, resistance points, and adoption barriers and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with business sponsors, Communications, Training, HR, Organizational Development, project managers, process leads, and other stakeholders to support successful project implementation.
  • Lead and guide communications and training workstreams to ensure alignment with the overall change strategy.
  • Establish and manage change success metrics, including readiness, adoption, utilization, engagement, and performance measures.
  • Provide recommendations to business sponsors and project teams regarding deployment strategies, change ownership, staffing, funding, and timing.
  • Ensure change management strategy, sponsorship, and ownership remain effective throughout the implementation and adoption lifecycle.
  • Support the organization in realizing targeted business benefits and sustaining changes after implementation.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years leading large-scale organizational change management initiatives.
  • Proven experience developing and executing change management strategies and integrating change activities with project, communication, and training plans.
  • Strong understanding of how individuals and organizations experience and respond to change.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of established change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, and resistance management.
  • Ability to advocate for end users and effectively represent the people-side of organizational change.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, without direct authority.
  • Ability to lead effectively in new, complex, and ambiguous situations.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong active listening, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or other recognized change management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation, technology implementations, process changes, or organizational redesign initiatives.
  • Experience developing change adoption and success metrics.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
  • Change management certification is a plus.
