About the role

The Organizational Development Specialist (ODS) serves as an active organizational development consultative partner for the ECU Health system of hospitals and entities. The ODS is responsible for designing and delivering classroom curricula, facilitating custom team interventions, and providing individual professional coaching. The role requires high levels of professionalism, collaboration, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates leadership and staff/professional development curricula and other relevant courses.
  • Facilitates team and departmental custom interventions, individual coaching, and other custom OD services.
  • Partners with organizational leaders, client groups, and HR partners to establish, develop, execute, and troubleshoot OD services and interventions that improve business results.
  • Collaborates with OD Administrator and organizational partners in unit change management, evaluation of organizational systems, culture, workforce and dynamics, and in preparation of leadership development plans for service line leaders.
  • Manages multiple priorities, projects, and client relationships.
  • Establishes and cultivates strategic partnerships with all levels of hospital employees, maintaining a high degree of trust, confidence, and credibility.
  • Appropriately evaluates and measures client results, own professional skills, and departmental services.
  • Demonstrates a drive and capacity for continuous learning and professional development in key competencies.
  • Maintains professionalism in the development and maintenance of collegial and stakeholder relationships, representation of the OD Team, OD Department, ECU Health and the profession of OD, consistent practice of self-awareness and self-management, and through both written and verbal communication.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Education, Communication, Leadership Development, Psychology or related areas required.
  • Certifications are preferred for the development & delivery of various curricula including but not limited to, 4MAT Instructional Design or comparable, MBTI, DiSC, EQi, FIRO-B, Situational Leadership, etc.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience required.

Pay

$72,259.20 - $105,328.08/year

Schedule

Hybrid role based out of Greenville, NC. Monday–Friday, full-time, daytime shift with flexible hours, typical 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.
