About the role
The position involves teaching Organic Chemistry I and II with labs (7 contact hours/week) for upper-level science students beginning August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach Organic Chemistry I and II with labs (7 contact hours/week)
- Teach Organic Chemistry I in the Fall semester
- Teach Organic Chemistry II and lab in the Spring semester
- Teach as part of a required course sequence for the biology and chemistry programs
Requirements
- A master's degree or a doctorate in chemistry or a related science area
- Candidates who are ABD will be considered
- Teaching face-to-face on the Clarke University campus in Dubuque, IA
Qualifications
- Strong background in organic chemistry
- Experience teaching organic chemistry at the college level
- Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
