About the role
Orderlies are needed to assist medical and/or nursing staff with various routine tasks in a fast-paced surgical center environment.
Responsibilities
- Transporting patients
- Personal care
- Gathering or moving equipment/supplies
- Changing lines
- Cleaning equipment
Requirements
- CNA preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) speaking a plus
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling patients and equipment (with assistance and/or mechanical devices)
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, stooping, reaching, and moving quickly between locations
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for safe patient transport and environmental awareness
