Order Taker

About the role

EC Ruff Marine is a premier provider of top-notch marine services and products, committed to delivering unparalleled customer experiences. We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented Order Taker to join our team and support our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or in person
• Confirm order details for accuracy and completeness
• Provide detailed product information and answer customer inquiries
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues professionally
• Maintain accurate and organized records of orders and transactions
• Affort inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operations

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Additional education or training in customer service is a plus
• Previous experience in a customer service or order-taking role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, Quick Books order management systems)
• A positive attitude and a collaborative team player
