Order Selector Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure Order Accuracy before shipping for all Outbound “Tasks”
• Communicate with the Team Lead/Supervisor regarding all problems and needs
• Develop and relay improvements to the Team Lead/Supervisor
• Record, Calculate, Enter, and Sort Data into spreadsheets
• Ensure all outbound tasks are completed in accordance with Department procedures
• Examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Affirm the department’s work area is clean, neat, and organized each day (i.e., boxes, bins, sweeping, and all trash)
• Daily paperwork is filed neatly and organized in accordance with Department procedures
• Assist Inbound team members with resolving problems
• Count, research, and monitor the activity of merchandise by product number and location
• Communicate with members of other Departments as needed to process orders to meet DC Goals
• Afford assistance in training, cross-training, and development of members of the Outbound team
• Operate Material Handling Equipment, including Fork, Order Selector, Walkie, and Pallet Jack
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on an occasional basis
• Familiar with the WM and RF environment preferred
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary
• Ability to sustain excessive walking/standing for the majority of the shift
• Ability to sustain extensive bending/lifting/reaching for the majority of the shift
