Order Selector (Freezer)

About the role

The Order Selector is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks, assembling, palletizing, and shrink‑wrapping pallets. The role involves operating powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks and working in various temperature zones, including refrigerated and freezer areas.

Responsibilities

• Locate, lift, and handle dry groceries, frozen foods, produce, meats, and dairy products using order sheets or audio headsets.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and conduct equipment inspections.
• Report damaged or low‑stock items and ensure product safety through proper wrapping techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in order selecting and operating industrial equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in following verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, crouch, and work in varying temperatures with exposure to moderate to high noise levels.

Physical & Work Environment

• Must meet physical demands, including repetitive movements and working in warehouse conditions.
• Work in refrigerated, freezer, and ambient temperature zones.
• Exposure to moderate to high noise levels.

Schedule

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
