Order Selector (Freezer)

About the role

Order Selector responsible for fulfilling customer orders by locating, lifting, and selecting products from warehouse racks, including dry, frozen, and refrigerated items. Operates powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks to assemble, palletize, and shrink-wrap products for shipment. Ensures a safe, clean work environment through equipment inspections and proper handling techniques. Reports damaged or low-stock items and follows safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift various grocery products using order sheets or audio headsets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
• Identify and report product issues and damages.
• Wrap and palletize products securely for delivery.
• Work in environments with temperature variations and adhere to safety procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; prior experience in order selecting and industrial equipment operation is advantageous. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment, follow instructions, and operate equipment safely. Capable of working in multi-temperature areas and lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance. Must meet physical demands, including walking, standing, crouching, and reaching, in a warehouse setting with moderate to high noise levels.
