Order Selector

About the role

Responsible for completing customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks, assembling, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping items. Operates powered industrial equipment, such as pallet jacks, and works in dry, refrigerated, or freezer areas. Ensures safety and quality by inspecting equipment, reporting issues, and properly wrapping products to prevent damage.

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift cases, boxes, and pallets of various grocery products, including fresh and frozen items.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and conduct equipment inspections.
• Report damaged or low-stock products and utilize proper wrapping techniques.
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior order selecting and equipment operation experience preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately under production standards.
• Capable of working in multi-temperature environments.
• Strong physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and perform repetitive movements.
• Effective in following safety procedures and instructions.

Physical & Work Environment

• Must frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, and reach.
• Exposure to moderate to high noise levels and temperature variations.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
