Role Overview

This position involves selecting products from warehouse racks to fulfill customer orders, then assembling, palletizing, and wrapping items for shipment. The role requires operating powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks and working in various temperature zones, including refrigerated and freezer areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Locate, lift, and handle a variety of grocery and perishable products, including fresh produce, dairy, meats, and frozen items.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and conduct safety inspections.
• Report damaged items, quality issues, and stock shortages.
• Use proper wrapping techniques to ensure product safety during transit.
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in order selecting and operating warehouse equipment is desirable.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working in multi-temperature zones.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance and perform various physical activities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods, with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is required. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
