Order Selector

About the role

Pacific Coast Fresh Company is a local, family-owned produce distributor that has proudly served our Pacific Northwest retail, wholesale, and food service customers since 1977. As an Order Selector, you'll fulfill customer orders by picking fresh produce (fruits and vegetables) from racks and storage areas, assembling product on pallets, and ensuring accuracy. Responsibilities

• Operate a hand-held scanner
• Operate a pallet jack
• Stack produce cases and build pallets
• Tag pallets appropriately
• Work cooperatively with checkers to fix errors
• Clean warehouse as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Passion for meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Ability to use and understand portable communications within a warehouse environment
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment safely and professionally
• Good oral and written communication skills in English (ability to speak, read, and write)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly and up to 50 lbs occasionally during the shift
• Availability for a 4:00 PM start time
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Pay

Base pay of $20/hour with potential to earn $23/hour or more through our incentive-based pay structure. Weekly paydays and immediate access to earned wages through Daily Pay.
