Order Selector

About the role

An Order Selector is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks, then assembling, palletizing, and wrapping them for shipment. This role involves operating powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks and working in various temperature zones, including refrigerated and freezer areas.

Responsibilities

• Locate, lift, and handle cases, boxes, and pallets of groceries, produce, and other products to prepare orders.
• Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently, conducting routine inspections.
• Report damaged or low-stock items and ensure proper product wrapping to prevent damages.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in order selecting and operating warehouse equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately, meet production standards, and operate safely in multi‑temperature zones.
• Strong physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Must frequently stand, walk, crouch, and reach.
• Work in varying temperature conditions.
• Handle moderate to high noise levels.

Schedule

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is necessary.
