Order Puller - Statesville, NC

Job Summary

The Warehouse Order Puller is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging products for shipment according to customer orders. This role ensures efficient workflow within the warehouse by maintaining organization, accuracy, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders accurately and efficiently using pick tickets, handheld scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
• Prepare and stage orders for shipment or delivery.
• Replenish picking areas and maintain stock levels as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks safely and responsibly (if certified).
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate with supervisors or warehouse leads regarding shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience (preferred).
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand, bend, or walk for long periods.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center setting. May involve exposure to varying temperatures depending on the facility. Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule

This is a first-shift, full-time, non-exempt position. Local candidates are preferred. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
