A Day in the Life as an Order Processing Specialist
Serve as the primary point of contact for distributor accounts, ensuring a seamless and positive experience across all customer interactions
Partner closely with the sales team to keep all stakeholders informed on order status and activities for assigned accounts
Accurately process customer equipment orders
Respond to customer inquiries regarding availability and product information
Provide order follow-up, tracking information, and proactively address any order issues
Provide general admin support to the department as needed
What You Need
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of experience in a customer service or related role
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
- Accurate and efficient data entry and basic math skills
- Detail oriented with strong time management, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with or ability to learn Salesforce, CRM systems, and other business applications
