Order Processing Associate
About the role
Eden Foods – Fremont, California (Alameda County) seeks a full-time employee for order fulfillment. Reliability, experience, and willingness to learn are essential. A teamwork orientation is a plus. Good work, people, food, and benefits are part of the package.
Responsibilities
- Accurate processing (picking, packing, and shipping) of orders assigned.
- Manage inventory rotation, quality, and weekly replenishment.
- Aid in weekly cycle-counts and quarterly inventories.
- Execute company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety procedures.
- Maintain work area and inventory in a clean, organized state.
- Operate equipment safely.
- Understand and apply current FedEx shipping procedures, policies, and rate structures.
- Support inventory management of supplies.
- Communicate operational needs or suggestions to supervisor and staff.
- Maintain and support company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high, intermittently throughout a workday.
- Good math skills.
- Effective communication about facility, inventory, and business system needs.
- A teamwork spirit.
- A willingness to learn.
