About the role

This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience who take pride in safe, accurate, and dependable work. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Schedule

  • 3–10 hour shifts (Monday–Wednesday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM)
  • 30 hours/week with full-time benefits

Pay

  • Starting pay: $21.00 per hour
  • Bonus or incentive plan eligible
  • Pay range: $15.00–$22.61 per hour (higher in certain locations based on local/state wage requirements)

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures
  • Ensure inbound shipments are received and registered correctly
  • Accurately sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations
  • Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, voice systems, and/or labor management systems
  • Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity
  • Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support a team-oriented work environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; participate in ongoing housekeeping efforts
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and fall-protection equipment when required
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs

Requirements

  • Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
  • Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers) preferred
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a warehouse environment, including:
    • Lifting up to 50 lbs
    • Standing/walking for extended periods
    • Working at heights up to 30 feet
    • Performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)
  • Experience with, or readiness to learn, warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice systems
  • Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements
