Order Management Specialist I, II or III

About the role

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Order Management Specialist I, II or III. This position will be located in Rolla, MO. An Order Management Specialist/Analyst is responsible for monitoring and processing incoming sales orders, communicating order status to customers, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery, and confirming accurate delivery details to the customers. This includes verifying the availability of placed orders and ensuring its quality before shipment to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Order Management Specialist I: Process incoming sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Order Management Specialist I: Communicate with field offices on the status of account issues and needs.
• Order Management Specialist I: Ensure that ERP information is maintained to drive production and supply planning, including current and past customer information, sales orders, and quotations.
• Order Management Specialist I: Generate basic reports and assist in analyzing order-related data.
• Order Management Specialist I: Communicate and coordinate with other departments, such as sales, planning, manufacturing, quality, materials handling, logistics, and customer service to complete responsibilities to meet or exceed customer expectations for timely order fulfillment.
• Order Management Specialist I: Assist with the integration of ERP and other order management processes.
• Order Management Specialist I: Conduct inventory information gathering at the customer level and perform inventory level monitoring, reporting to appropriate personnel.
• Order Management Specialist I: Provide strong customer relations and service to assist with customer issues and needs.
• Order Management Specialist I: Maintain accurate records of orders and customer interactions.
• Order Management Specialist I: Facilitate order management tasks that provide sample submissions to new and existing customers.
• Order Management Specialist I: Process consignment inventory billing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Order Management Specialist II (in addition to I): Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules.
• Order Management Specialist II: Investigate and resolve order discrepancies and billing issues.
• Order Management Specialist II: Collaborate with sales and production teams to prioritize and expedite orders as needed.
• Order Management Specialist II: Process a high volume of orders accurately and efficiently.
• Order Management Specialist II: Generate reports to track order metrics and performance.
• Order Management Specialist II: May assist with training of lower-level specialists.
• Order Management Specialist II: Coordinate with finance department to collect past-due invoices.
• Order Management Specialist II: Support and assist organization account managers, pipeline leaders, and sales managers with all aspects of sales.
• Order Management Specialist III (in addition to II): Manage the end-to-end order processing cycle, from order entry to delivery, for complex orders.
• Order Management Specialist III: Develop and implement best practices for order management processes.
• Order Management Specialist III: Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for departmental and company use.
• Order Management Specialist III: Mentor and train new hires in all aspects of the position.
• Order Management Specialist III: Generate and distribute regular reports on order metrics and performance.
• Order Management Specialist III: Resolve escalated customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Order Management Specialist III: Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies.
• Order Management Specialist III: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline order fulfillment processes.
• Order Management Specialist III: Collect and maintain regular reporting metrics covering all aspects of order management to aid in strategic business decision-making.
• Order Management Specialist III: Develop and present findings within and outside Manufacturing Operations Department.
• Order Management Specialist III: Utilize OBIEE for reporting.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and Minimum 2 years of related experience or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
