Order Fulfillment Specialist-M-F, 8am-5pm

About the role

KCC Companies is an employee-owned (ESOP) company dedicated to providing complete design, manufacturing, installation, and service for commercial & residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively and efficiently with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Reviews sales orders, picks part(s) and packages them for shipment.
• Reviews documentation prior to packing to ensure corrected part has been picked.
• Organize materials in the warehouse and in the lot to make parts picking and counting easier.
• Performs inventory cycle counts when requested.
• Assists with Year End Inventory tasks as needed.
• Disposes of obsolete or damaged parts as assigned.
• Safely uses the company vehicle to pick up purchased parts when requested.
• Safely operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (Forklifts etc.).
• Actively participate as a member of the team to move the team towards completion of goals.
• Takes the initiative to find, identify and propose changes to processes not working well.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Proficient understanding of basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and communicate effectively.
• Possess a strong team spirit.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Capable of lifting/moving boxes weighing 50 lbs or less.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• DOT medical exam required to operate company vehicles.
