Order Filler (Grocery Store)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Take orders quickly and accurately using a handheld device to navigate the store and gather items from each customer’s list.
• Check product quality and select only the freshest items, avoiding anything damaged.
• Pack and stage items neatly for pickup or delivery.
• Handle substitutions smartly according to our guidelines.
• Stay efficient and safe by keeping a steady pace and meeting time goals.
• Maintain a clean workspace by wiping down areas, returning stray items, and organizing shelves.
• Collaborate with the team by working with other departments and communicating with leads or supervisors as needed.

Requirements

• No experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need on the job.
• Valid RealID.
• Able to obtain and maintain government base access.
• Able to consistently meet nightly stocking and case-count goals.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Able to treat everyone with respect and get along well with others.
• Able to talk clearly with the team.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, squat, twist, and kneel to put items on shelves.
• Move carts and trolleys loaded with products.
• Use hands to open boxes, handle small items, and scan products.
• Use ladders or step stools to reach high shelves.
• Work indoors in areas like stockrooms and coolers.
• Expect to be on your feet most of your shift.
• Work around dust, cardboard, and other packing stuff.
• Be aware of slippery floors.
