Order Entry Specialist

Versa-Tags is currently seeking a Order Entry Specialist to join our team! Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm; Friday, 7:30am-4pm What is a Versa-Tags Order Entry Specialist? As an Order Entry Specialist in our Customer Support Department, you'll help take our customers' need into our Production team to make it a reality. We work with both stock and custom orders, and you'll make sure that the orders are input quickly and accurately so that Production knows exactly what the customer desires. This is a great role for someone who loves the details, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. From our Versa-Tags Key Tag to custom graphics, you'll know our products inside and out to make sure they're entered with speed and accuracy. You may assist your fellow team members with customer calls, and will at times call the customer directly to make sure you know exactly what is needed to get everything entered into our ERP system and ready to produce. What does your day look like? Use extensive knowledge of products, materials, and services we provide to achieve high customer satisfactionReceive, review and enter customer purchase orders (POs) by verifying item, pricing, customer and shipping informationResolve discrepancies by following standard processes or escalating order issues to relevant teamCompare data with original purchase order (PO) to verify order entry is accurate and completeAnswers phones when necessary, providing excellent service to all customers, vendors, and stakeholdersWork with the Customer Support Supervisor and with the General Manager if needed to ensure proper customer service is being delivered, and escalate issues or complaints appropriately.Inform customers of deals and promotionsTake payment information and other pertinent customer account information, and enter/update in ERP systemEnter all types of orders but not limited to: Approvals, reorders, stock and custom stockOther duties as assigned Requirements What skills can you bring to the table? High school diploma1+ years of relevant experience processing detailed data entryExperience entering customer product orders preferredTech savvy, with strong general computer skills.50+ WPM data entry with unquestionable accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsExtremely detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and accurately enter data into Company databasesAbility to maintain structured focus and productivity for long periods of timeAbility to work under pressure and react quicklyStrong phone, verbal, and written communication skills, with a focus on quality service and professionalism with all customers and coworkersActive listening capabilityAbility to evolve with an ever-changing environmentAbility to adapt/respond to different types of personalitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong computer/keyboard skills; experience with ERP systems a plusMust be a fantastic team member!
