Order Entry Specialist

Job Summary

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for working with the optimization coordinator to verify that correct processes are followed to ensure that all information related to the production of product is clearly and accurately presented to the production floor.

• Analyze and interpret architectural renderings submitted for production.
• Prioritize workflow based on production and delivery route schedules.
• Use of glass production software and CAD.
• Utilize knowledge of production flow and machinery to route glass in factory.
• Absorb customer calls regarding status of order.
• Communicate with Operations Manager customer concerns and work toward immediate solution.

• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• A high level of organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• A strong math aptitude.
• A dependable, trustworthy, and punctual individual.
