Order Administrator - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

About the role

The Order Administrator works directly with airlines, airline Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities, brokers, and internal teams to coordinate customer repair orders and help ensure parts move efficiently through the repair process. This position serves as an important connection between the customer and the Collins Aerospace Service Center, supporting order administration, logistics, documentation, repair status, and customer communication. While the primary focus of the role is order administration and customer support, this position will also assist with inventory and material-handling activities as needed. This may include receiving and storing materials, verifying inventory records, tracking parts, performing cycle counts, and supporting the physical flow of products throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day customer service and account administration activities, including repair order management, logistics coordination, contract requirements, and customer communication
  • Process customer repair orders in accordance with established procedures and route inquiries to the appropriate department or team when additional support is required
  • Manage a high volume of customer communications, order information, and operational data while maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Coordinate with Technical and Operations teams to help ensure customer repairs are completed in accordance with established requirements and customer expectations
  • Create, maintain, and verify documentation related to the receipt, movement, repair, and shipment of customer equipment in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize SAP to enter, maintain, and retrieve customer order, repair, material, and inventory information
  • Physically receive, unpack, inspect, and move customer products and materials through the repair process as necessary
  • Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, and locating materials and parts
  • Perform periodic inventory verification and cycle counting activities and help reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory, system records, and supporting documentation
  • Support the organized flow of materials and products throughout repair and stockroom areas in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist with tracking and tracing incoming and outgoing materials, shipments, and customer equipment
  • Partner with internal departments regarding warranty, credit, billing, material availability, and other order-related questions
  • Maintain knowledge of Collins Aerospace products, processes, and organizational resources to provide appropriate information and support to customers
  • Consistently document customer needs, order activity, and service issues to support quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain an organized work area and support proper storage and identification of parts and materials
  • Perform the physical requirements of the position, including frequent movement of materials and boxing/unboxing items weighing up to 15 pounds

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high-school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience communicating with internal and/or external customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior aerospace, aviation, repair service, or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) experience
  • Experience using SAP or another enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with order administration, customer service, logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory control, stockroom operations, or material coordination
  • Experience performing data entry and maintaining accurate transactional or inventory records

Pay

The salary range for this role is 47,700 USD – 90,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.
