ORD A&P MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Aircraft Maintenance
Aircraft Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, avionics, and other critical components.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
Troubleshooting and Repairs
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems, using technical manuals and sophisticated diagnostic equipment.
Replace defective parts, ensuring all work is completed to regulatory and company standards.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Accurately document all maintenance work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and inspections conducted.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and flight operations personnel to ensure seamless and efficient aircraft operations.
Provide clear and concise communication regarding maintenance issues and status updates.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must hold an FAA Airframe and Power plant license
- Legal right to work in, and travel freely in and out of, the United States
- Must possess a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Legally operate company vehicles and equipment with no restrictions
- Must be able to provide your own tools
- FCC License helpful, but not required
- DOT required pre-employment drug test
- TSA required fingerprint check for Criminal History Records Check
- Must be able to work any shift
- Must be able to read and converse fluently in English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and work platforms
- Must be able to kneel, bend, and sit

Pay and Benefits
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Up to $2,500 in Relocation Bonus
- Industry leading pay scale $26.71/hr - $49.20/hr
- Additional $6/hr for licensed A&P experience
